What first made you interest in studying public health?
I became interested in studying public health after participating in a study abroad trip during undergrad. On this trip, I explored how social, cultural, political, and economic factors can influence emergency department visits, and how emergency medicine is practiced in the international setting, all while gaining valuable research experience. After completing the program, I decided to pursue an MPH degree in order to help guide my career towards program planning and outcome measurement for population health.

What is your plan after graduation?
After graduating from the Brown School, I will be attending the University of Nebraska Medical College.
