Three things you have with you at all times: Snacks, headphones, a book

What are your hobbies or activities when you aren’t studying or working? I love reading books for fun! I’ve been an avid booklover since elementary school and am always looking for more recommendations. I also love to workout and stay active– I am happy to try anything active, except running.

What have you learned (or are learning) that has made a difference to you? Learning about system dynamics has changed the way that I view the world. The ability to visually model complex problems has pushed me to consider new questions and create boundaries for what usually are overwhelming problems.

What is a cause you are passionate about? Immigrant rights! As a daughter of immigrants, I want to help my community to thrive in the States and to create supportive environments where diversity is warmly embraced as the strength it is.

What would people be surprised to know about you? Despite how much I talk about my cat Peach, I actually have been a dog person for most of my life. That won’t stop me from showing off a dozen photos of her to those interested.
