What are three things you have with you at all times:

Nalgene water bottle, Burt’s Bees chapstick, Pilot Precise V5 pen

What are your hobbies or activities when you aren’t studying or working?

Running/walking, playing with my kitties, watching the Great British Bake Off, eating/cooking good food

What first made you interested in studying public health and/or social work?

I became interested in public health when I realized the importance of addressing social, policy, and environmental factors to improve community and individual level health outcomes, especially those related to chronic diseases.

What has been the move rewarding experience for you in graduate school?

It has been special to get to know my peers and professors as we have been able to interact more in class while living through a shared experience of the pandemic.

What do you like most about the PRC?

The PRC has been one of my favorite parts during my time at the Brown School. The people who work here foster a welcoming, creative, and collaborative space, allowing students to grow in their interests, skills, and networks. I always felt supported and learned so much about the “behind-the- scenes” process of designing, conducting, and analyzing research!
