Allison L'Hotta

Postdoctoral researcher

Allison’s research focuses on improving access to evidence-based cancer rehabilitation programs and reducing barriers to comprehensive cancer care. The overall goal of her research agenda is to reduce cancer-related disability. She takes a mixed methods approach to examine questions from the perspectives of patients and their families, medical providers, and medical systems. Allison earned both her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy and PhD in Rehabilitation and Participation Science from Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine. She is currently a postdoctoral research associate within the Implementation Science Center for Cancer Control.
