Sarah Moreland-Russell, PRC Faculty, was a guest on the American Journal of Public Health podcast on Building Bridges Between Local and Federal Public Health Policies. Sarah was joined by Assistant Professor Caitlin McMurtry to discuss why local public health policies are sometimes in conflict with federal policies. The podcast examined if there were ways to build bridges between the two, whether political polarization impacted the response to COVID, and whether public opinion and political processes impact how public policy can work to address inequities.
