Amanda Gilbert

Amanda Gilbert is a Master’s Research Fellow working on the Heartland Moves project. Amanda comes to the MPH program at Washington University, from a background in social work. She graduated with her MSW from New York University in 2013 and went on to complete a Social Work Fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Care, at the Veterans Affairs Geriatric Research Education and Clinical Center. Amanda subsequently worked in oncology and care coordination at Mount Sinai Hospital and obtained her clinical social work license in 2017. In her free time, Amanda enjoys baking, taking her dog Ophelia on walks and reading.
