Healthier Missouri Communities (Healthier MO) was a community-based research project conducted by the Prevention Research Center in St. Louis (PRC-StL) and community partners from 12 counties in rural southeast Missouri.

The primary goal of Healthier MO was to increase the dissemination of evidence-based interventions to improve physical activity and healthy eating at the local level in areas with high chronic disease disparities using a Community Based Participatory Research (CBPR) approach.
