Three things you have with you at all times: Phone, purse, glasses

What are your hobbies or activities when you aren’t studying or working? I enjoy tinkering with recipes, watching political period pieces and covering things in ink stamps.

What first made you interested in studying public health and/or social work? Providing patient care as a physician was an intense introduction to the complexities of health systems. As health systems reflect the structure and function of policies, transitioning to the policy space was a logical next step in my career.

What were you doing before you came to the Brown School? Supporting knowledge management and program development with the Global Handwashing Partnership.

What would people be surprised to know about you? I participate in half-marathons with my husband. It’s a fun way to visit new places!
