Stephanie Mazzucca-Ragan

Stephanie is an Assistant Professor at the Prevention Research Center in St. Louis and the Brown School at Washington University at St. Louis. Her research interests include the measurement of nutrition and physical activity environments and the development, testing, and dissemination of strategies focused on improving nutrition and physical activity behaviors and preventing obesity. Stephanie has a Doctorate in Nutrition Intervention and Policy with a minor in Epidemiology from the Gillings School of Global Public Health at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where her dissertation work focused on the development and testing of strategies to improve physical activity of preschool aged children attending early care and education centers. Outside of research, Stephanie enjoys baking and cheering for the Tar Heels basketball team.
