Maggie Padek, MPH, MSW is the Research Manager for Public Health in ACTION project. This project looks at the extent to which mis-implementation is occurring in cancer control programs at the state level. Previous to this project, she worked as the Project Coordinator for Mentored Training in Dissemination and Implementation research in Cancer (MT-DIRC). She received her MPH & MSW from the Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis in 2013 and worked on a variety of D&I related projects during her time as a graduate student. She has also had a variety of community experiences working within schools, courthouses, community mental health centers and a girl’s home in rural Tanzania. She enjoys spending her free time with her husband and puppy taking long walks through the local parks. Her lifelong goal is to someday compete on Jeopardy.
