Jess Gannon

Research Assistant

Jess Gannon is a Research Assistant for the Plans, Actions, and Capacity to Sustain Tobacco Control (PACT) project at the Prevention Research Center. Prior to her time at the PRC, Jess served as a Program Coordinator at the Skandalaris Center at Washington University in St. Louis. In 2018 she earned her Master of Social Work degree from WashU with a concentration in International Social and Economic Development. As a graduate student, Jess worked in student-focused roles in the Office of Residential Life, as well as the Brown School Office of Admissions & Recruitment. She also had the privilege of completing her practicum in Tanzania working on the development and evaluation of educational water sanitation & hygiene programs. Prior to attending the Brown School, Jess served as a Team Leader for AmeriCorps NCCC in Sacramento. In her free time, Jess enjoys playing rugby, cooking, and taking care of her numerous plants.
