Emily Davis

Masters Student

Emily Davis is an MD/MPH student at Washington University in St. Louis and a research assistant for the Heartland Moves project. Her background includes working with children and families at the UCLA Center for Community Health and the Center for HIV Identification, Prevention, and Treatment Services. Emily first became interested in rural health when working for the Jabulani Rural Health Foundation and Zithulele Research in South Africa, and she has since sought out opportunities to live, learn, and work in rural communities in the United States. After graduating from medical school, Emily plans to pursue a residency in Family Medicine and ultimately work in both clinical practice and community development.
