Elizabeth Zofkie, MPH, is a Senior Research Assistant in the Prevention Research Center in the Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis. Currently, she is working with Dr. Sarah Moreland-Russell on a project that aims to develop the Program Sustainability Action Planning Model and Training Curricula and assess the effectiveness of this training in increasing the capacity for sustainability of state-level tobacco control programs. Her research interests include identifying social determinants of health and addressing health disparities specifically in cancer or HIV/AIDS. Elizabeth graduated with her MPH from Saint Louis University’s College for Public Health and Social Justice in 2017. During graduate school, she worked with the St. Louis nonprofit organization, Food Outreach, that provides nutritional support and education for men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS or cancer. In her free time, she enjoys doing calligraphy, painting, yoga, and being with friends and family.
