Breana Wayne

Research Assistant

Breana Wayne has a passion to help others. She has work with kids with mental disorders, elders in nursing home, and strives for the best to help others in need. As a current remote Research Assistant from Chicago, IL supporting the Prevention Research Center Core Research Project, Breana plans to continue her education at WASHU as an MPH student after graduation in May 2022. Breana is in her last year of her undergraduate degree receiving her Bachelor of Science in both Biochemistry and Chemistry-Business at Bradley University in Peoria, IL. Breana is a part of several extracurricular activities on and off campus including: the National Society of Leadership and Success and Alpha Epsilon Delta pre-health Honor Society, and the psychology neuroscience research team. Off campus she has worked in numerous childcare and medical hospitals in the Peoria, IL area including Unity Point Hospital as a medical scribe and AlmostHomeKids as a volunteer. Starting in the fall she is excited to transition to become a full-time student working as a Research Assistant. In her spare time, she loves to play volleyball, travel, read, cook, and watch the nature channel.
