CDC-funded Prevention Research Centers (PRCs) are a network of academic research centers committed to conducting prevention research. PRCs are leaders in translating research results into policy and public health practice.
The Prevention Research Center in St Louis (PRC-StL) engages in research and projects related to the built environment, physical activity, chronic disease prevention, policy, dissemination and implementation, healthy eating, and evidence-based decision making in public health. We have both local and international projects.
